Czech Republic

On March 3rd, 2017 we reached Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. Prague itself is a very beautiful and very lively city. For a weekend break, this city is extremely attractive. Especially because of the young population. We visited the whole city from top to bottom. The river Vltava, which flows completely through the middle of the city, is especially charming. In the evening we looked at the Charles Bridge. We wanted to visit the bridge in the evening, as it came more apparent through the beautiful night lighting.

Since we could imagine how exhausting the overnight stays at the airport will be, we decided to treat ourselves with a break on the third day. For this we decided on a hotel with a central location. We stayed one night at the hotel “Extol Inn Hotel ***“. About the hotel I can report that the location was optimal and only 2km away from the centre and we had no problems with the public transport to get there. The room was clean and the service was very nice. The price-performance ratio was optimal, not obvious for such a low price in a three star hotel. Breakfast was included in the price, but we had to get out of the hotel very early, before we could even have breakfast. A basic 2 bedroom has only 38 € cost – a real bargain.

For food I can tell you one thing: I can hardly remember restaurants, because I ate so much and was received so hospitable. For a 4-course menu we have paid the equivalent of 30 € – incredibly cheap. As you can guess, Prague has another currency, which was to our advantage. The restaurant was called MANGAL Restaurant.
